BE the Greatest __________. For You and Everyone Else.

What would become possible if each and everyone one of us were THE GREATEST _____________ (whatever you do for a living, mom/dad, husband/wife, or anything else that is worthwhile and meaningful?)

Viktor Frankl, who had recently taking up flying lessons, declared in a 1972 speech, about the most important gift we can give others:

“If we take man as he really is, we make him worse, but if we overestimate him …. If we seem to be idealists and are overestimating, overrating man, and looking at him that high, here above, you know what happens? We promote him to what he really can be.

So, we have to be idealists in a way because then we wind up as the true, the real realists.

Do you know who has said this? ‘If we take man as he is, we make you worse, but if we take man, as he should be, we make him capable of becoming what he can be. This was not my flight instructor. This was not me. This was Goethe. He said this verbally.’”

Being an idealist (in how we see ourselves and others), how would each of us show up differently?  How would that impact the power of our work and our impact on others?

Be the BEST for others, in service of others.

And,

Be the BEST at what you do.

Commit to it.

ALSO, SEE the best in others.  See the ideal in them. See the Champion in them.

Imagine what your business team or family could accomplish (and how much better your relationships would be) if this was a way of being you cultivated in yourself each day.

As for me, I declare:

I am THE GREATEST COACH and CHAMPION FOR OTHERS, and I FEEL it deeply in my BEING.

I am that I always see the Magnificence in everyone.

I am always giving others a reputation to live UP to.

I am constantly blessing myself and others.

I am that my husband and kids are my greatest teachers.

I am that my husband and kids are perfect in every way.
